Following the release of Benji’s debut album, Lord Ugly With the Extras, he delivers his first visual for the project titled ‘CRUDE‘. The video portrays a dimly lit reality and the delusional mental fragmentation inside the mind of Benji.
In a series of vibrant shots and Benji iii‘s range of emotions from grandiose bravado to crippling self loathing, consciously powered lines like “I’m self medicating, the curse of my generation, the age of information gets clouded by memes and aesthetic.” cut through sharply, sticking to the mind like paint to walls. The video is very well constructed and does an excellent job of entertaining the viewer.
