Brady Watt ft. Pharoahe Monch & Caye – Monte Carlo

Brady’s profile has also been exponentially raised due to his groundbreaking “Bass & Bars” series (an ongoing series that has included appearances from Warren G, Evidence, Pharoahe Monch, B-Real, Smoke DZA, Talib Kweli, Benny The Butcher & Conway The Machine among many others) that has generated widespread adulation across the net. “Bass & Bars” has amassed over 30 million views over the course of its 27 episodes.

Fresh off of his collaborative EP, The Real Book, Vol. 1, with Bishop Nehru, which included. . , Brady returns with a new single “Monte Carlo” featuring Pharoahe Monch and Caye.

Already known for his diversity and ability to cater and blend his sound to any genre and artist he works with, Brady’s diversity is on full display with “Monte Carlo.”  “We made this beat while having a party at my house, it was all musicians. The track title is taken from a dive bar in my neighborhood that we went to that evening and it captured the vibe of the song.  I actually detailed an experience I was having with a girl that I was seeing to Caye and he loosely based his writing on it.

While the song was written that night, we needed a verse to take it to the next level” Brady commented.  “I had just done a ‘Bass & Bars’ with Monch so I shot my shot on the feature and he fucked with the song heavy and knocked the verse right out. Like everything Pharoahe touches, he exhibits a next-level skill set on “Monte Carlo.”

“I love the way “Monte Carlo” comes alive” Pharoahe exclaimed.  “When Brady asked me to be a part of the song, I thought that I can not only envision this music in a film, but it lends itself to so many great metaphors about relationships.”
