Nomad Carlos & Farma Beats – Leviathan Axe

Nomad Carlos and Farma Beats combine their talents on this ‘Leviathan Axe’ single.

Nomad Carlos cuts through the competition with Leviathan Axe, his new single produced by Farma Beats. On the track, the Long Island-based rapper by way of Kingston, Jamaica, sounds right at home over a grimy choir conducted by the London producer.

For two minutes, Carlos goes off without any chorus, bringing calm and confident slick talk paired with a nonchalant sense of humour. “I don’t know who got more sons, yo, Bob Marley or Roc Marci / Kartel or Bounty, the church or the army / I’m a rare breed, half yankee, half yardie.”

Leviathan Axe is the first release from Cipher, an upcoming EP from Nomad Carlos and Farma Beats, which will be released on Monday, May 13, across all digital platforms. Carlos says the project was birthed out of a single collaboration that evolved into Cipher. “I chose the title because of the references in my rhymes, influenced by Metal Gear Solid. And we also have our own talk, so it has a double meaning.”

While Nomad Carlos may be an avid gamer, it is clear he is not playing around on the mic.
