From the sample to the title “Saint Ides Flow” reflects a lot of Hip-Hop history. Tha Dogg Pounds’s original track plays on the lyrics from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s New York New York song. Also Biggie Smalls rhymed over the same beat for St. Ides commercial.
Saint Ides Flow has a dope blend of east coast lyrics with a West coast melodic hook provided by frequent collaborator Whispers. As usual Sheek , Jada and Styles kills it on this DJ Uneek produced track. This is the second single off Sheek Louch’s “Beast Mode 4” project dropping October 16.
