Lyric Jones releases “Want To Say” video featuring Rah Digga.

Rapper/singer, “multi-hyphenate” Lyric Jones released her lauded album Closer Than They Appear on October 27th. Today, Lyric shares the official music video for the project’s BlaaqGold-produced “Want To Say.” Joined by Rah Digga, who laces the song with adlibs, the John Benneche-directed video is a display of supreme style and grace, as Lyric floats over the track with sharp bravado.

With this video I just wanted to have fun and be stylish. The vibe of the song and the beat is infectious so I wanted to use that canvas to just get my bars off and flex lyrically. Having Rah Digga in the video was the icing on the cake since she’s on the adlibs of the record. We’re definitely giving Mase and Puffy vibes. Also, the openness of the song concept wise gave me room to show other talents in the video. I thought it would be a cool surprise to show me actually playing drums. You can hear a small snip of me playing along with the track toward the end.” – Lyric Jones
